Okay, so today I took my parakeet out of it's cage to play and then when it was flying, it fell down on my carpet. I think it fell from like 6 feet up in the air. After wards, I quickly went to get her and when she was on my hand, she tried to fly again, but fell again! I put her back in her cage and i saw that one of her wings (right one) was a bit droopy.... :'( And then she began to fall asleep. Does my pigeon have a crush on me?

I am 17 and rescue pigeons and doves and have been for 7 years so i know quitea bit about them. My youngest pigeon who i found sick as a fledgling under a bridge is now almost ready to be released, it has always acted hostile to me which is fine because i need it to be nice and wild at heart! But lately it seems to be confused, i had it flying around in its coupe one day and it looked scared so i went inside an it instantly flew to me and i couldnt get it away so i brought it inside where it was calm again but it started bobbing its head which is what my other pigeons who are mates do so i bobbed my fist in front of it. It walked to the end of tthe cage nearest to me and whenever i bobbed my fist it bobbed its head and then would fluffup and turn in circles. Kind of like a mating dance but without cooing. When i stuck my fingers in te cage it gently pecked it once. Really weird because this bird use to go nuts wing slapping me and pecking the crap out my hands. Its still hard to catch inside the chicken run when i let them fly around (i bring them in my room at night due to several raccoon attacks in the past) but its easier to catch than before. And today when i was feeding my pigeons in the cage next to it, he/she started "ooo-ing" (its the sound pigeons make to call a mate to the nest) and so i thought it was cute and ""oo-ed" back at it and he/she got all poofy and looked at me. And no im not trying to get her attached to me or something i just play around with pigeon sounds to see how they react, my favorite pigeon whos half blind loves it when i do certain sounds its really cute! But yeah the birdie in question seems to be wary/scared of me by instinct but also confused, itll start flying to land on me then turn around an land somewhere else n then repeat that over and over and it gravitates to where im at like right now its eating food under my foot when theirs seed all over the ground. Hi I know this might be to much information but I am worried. Every time I use the toilet I am bleeding bright red blood with constipation/hard black stools with blood also in the stools. It doesn't hurt but is just stressful because it is hard to use the loo. Please help I went to my doctors and he gave me laxatives which have not changed anything instead they just burn my stomach. I eat when i am bored, I eat when I watch tv, I can't go out anywhere without stopping to get something to eat, I am ALWAYS eating. So much that grocery costs are going through the roof. It's like a compulsive behaviour, I just cannot stop myself. What can I do to fix this problem? I don't want to go back to being anorexic or bulimic to lose weight. I'd just like to stop pigging out on EVERYTHING. Would a doctor be able to help me some how? Anyone else have this problem?

Periods after pregnancy?

i had my baby 14 weeks ago, but ran out of breastmilk around 8 weeks so my baby is bottled feed within two weeks of stopping breastfeeding i got my first period. 28 days later i went to the bathroom and wiped and there was blood and i assumed it was the start of my period... but nothing else for the rest of the day came, the next day when i had abit of blood on the loo paper but again nothing more. I am fealing really weird in myself and I know alot of reasons why but I am really not sure. At the moment I am doing exams two years early (I am 14) and I don't see loads of my parents but some times I suddenly feel awfull, like there is no point in life and I leave class and go to the loo's and cry but I don't know why which makes it worse. I think that really I feel like that all the time its just most of the time I am just trying to make people think that I am great so I try to act really hyper. Recently though when I get upset which happens a few times a day i have started scratching my hands really hard so the skin comes off like carpet burns. Seperating need advice?

Husband & I are seperating he's moving into rented which he can't afford but won't go back to his mum's cause he can't stand living under her roof he say's!! How to turn pars into birdies?

The obvious answers are to improve your putting and hit more greens in regulation. You have to remember that par is always a good score though. With putting you have to have the mindset that you're going to make every putt. The majority of birdies I've made have been on putts over 15 feet. For some reason, unless I hit it stiff, I haven't made many putts for birdie in the 5-10 foot range. I've made some bombs for birdie as well as chipping in for birdie on several occasions. I make more putts for par in the 5-10 foot range than I do for birdie. Strange, but that's my reality. I played 9 holes on Sunday and had 2 legitimate birdie putts and missed both. I missed a lot of greens, but was able to get it up and down about half the time. If I putted better, I would have shot a 38 like you did, but ended up shooting 40.

Hmm seems like you have a lot going on physically. I've never had gallstones or any of that but I have a toddler. If you've never had a baby before you usually don't notice movement until 4 or 5 months into it but everyone's different. My advice, take a pregnancy test and see if you are prego. The most accurate I've found is the digital telling you if you're "pregnant" or "not pregnant". If you're not pregnant then you do have to go to the doc and have this checked out, it could be serious since you already have so much going on. Good luck.

My pet parakeet just died and I don't understand why? Please help ='(!?

My sister and I had two male parakeets about the ages of 5-6 years old. About 3 days ago, a cat had come in through the back door and toppled their cage off the stool and to the ground, in an obvious attempt to kill them. My sister witnessed this just as it was happening and scared the cat away before any more damage was inflicted. She described the birds as being very calm and unharmed right afterwards, despite their cage being a total mess. However, about a day or so later, we noticed that one of our birdies could barely fly. He was always an adventurer and he liked to leave the cage and fly about the kitchen and dining room, but he remained on the kitchen floor and hallways, crawling about for a couple hours, unable to fly back into his cage. I noticed that he was able to fly about a foot or 12 inches high, but then would come crashing back down to the ground. We managed to get him back in his cage manually, thinking that his wing(s) would heal within a matter of time. A couple days later, which is today, I peered into his cage to find him lying face down on the floor of his cage, dead. The other bird was flying around like normal, but my poor other bird was smack dead. Confused and distraught, as he was otherwise a very healthy bird living in a fine environment, I put him in a lined box so we can bury him later today. I have not yet told the rest of my family- they are all still asleep. What do you think the cause of his death was? =(

Antidepressant equivalency to a Benzodiazepine?

A question that should be asked for everyone who has taken a benzodiazepene and has few options, because of the addictive hook to them. I was first prescribed "Lorazepam-Ativan" 5mg as young as 16. This was a huge prescription mistake my pediatrician had done. I was addicted and had been taken to a clinic for tapering off the "Lorazepam-Ativan". I was given "Clonazepam- Klonopin" and took 1.5mg and then started to taper off it. I am now off both benzodiazepenes. My psychiatrist prescribed me "Seroquel" 150mg and "Cipralex" 15mg. Seroquel only, helps me sleep and Cipralex does nothing whats so ever. What Cipralex or any other antidepressant is the equivalent to a benzodiazepene? After the withdrawal I feel like I NEED THEM for everyday life. I was diagnosed with "panic disorder" and haven't left the house, except for psychiatric appointments. My anxiety is through the through the roof!

For about a year or longer now I have been having problems with abdominal pain and diareoh immediately after eating/ 15 min to 1 hour after. It doesn't seem to make any difference what I eat and can also happen when I havent actually yet eaten. It makes me worried to eat outside as when it happens the need for the loo is very urgent. I dont eat before I go out or go to work as I have had it on the way there and had to rush home . Also when it happens my bpwel doesnt completely empty so then i have the diareoh again later after the first one after eating. I dont know if it would be anything to do with this but I feel very tired most of the time , have problems with getting to sleep, randomly feel dizzy/lightheaded during the day, have muscle and joint pain especially in my neck/shoulders/lower legs/feet. My mum had myotonic dystrophy/muscular dystrophy and I am 20.

Ok, so I play doubles badminton for my school team and tonight during practice, I got smashed directly in my right eye by the birdie, and it hurt really bad for about 10 seconds. My birds just died,someone help me please?

hello,I have had two pet birds since August 2010. Later in September, they had had four baby birds. These six birds all together had been living peacefully. However yesterday two of my birds had died. I know that one of them was an adult bird and the other one was a child bird. I have been very sad because of this. I have noticed that the four remanding birds are sad as well. They have not been moving around in their cage nor have they been singing like they usually do. It seems like a sad moment for the birdies. My mother sad that she found one of the birds dead in the cage and that the other one was having difficulty breathing and that when my mother tried to help him,he/she had vomited all over her hand and that is when he also passed away. It is weird because they have always seemed fine. I really miss them and I know that so do the other birds. How long will the birds remember and will they get over it? What is a COD4 infection?

I am not a computer guy. I like to play video games and know nothing about code or CPU lingo. So I was playing COD4 on my xbox 360 for the first time in a couple years and I saw people in online multiplayer falling from the sky and disappearing right in front of my eyes. People were on on top of the map and under the map and on roof tops I have never imagined you could get on. Also there was this annoying colorful writing about game mods that covered a good portion of my upper left screen which made it hard to play. So I ask one of the players that was doing this stuff how he did what he did and he simply messaged me back "Infection Mod." Now I have no idea what that means. I am familiar with the elevator glitch and wall breaches cause I've seen others do those online but I never learned them cause it seemed like it took to much time to practice it so I play straight up. I might be totally wrong in my assessment, but it seems like autism, ADHD, and a myriad of other "labels" that get placed on a child are placed on children way too often and other wise "normal" children get labeled with a "disorder". We now have people so worried about their children having these conditions that they scrutinize the tiniest behavior and want to seek a clinical diagnosis for every little thing that seems a little off. Statistically, the rates of autism and ADHD are skyrocketing through the roof, toddlers are even being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and being placed on powerful antidepressants. It's getting to be a scary world where every deviation of an extremely narrow definition of "normal" is clinically diagnosed as some disorder. And once a child is labeled, it's very easy to treat them like that label and confine them in a box. Yes, I know that there are real actual cases where there is a clear and definite "disorder", autism and ADHD are real. But I'm just wondering if perfectly normal kids are being labeled with a disorder.

I have a pretty good life, a roof over my head, shoes, a normal family, and some great friends. But some days I wonder if it's real. What if I just created these people in my mind to please myself? What if I'm crazy and I just don't know it? What if this is actually just a long, endless dream? I worry that no one likes me and that I have no true friends. My friends are nice and fun and I can talk to them about almost anything, but I only doubt myself. I can't trust myself. So if I can't trust myself, I can't expect myself to trust anyone else. I even cut myself once with the end of a guitar string, and the pain felt good for some reason. I couldn't stop and before I knew it I had like 20 little cuts on my arm, but i never told anyone. I'm still hoping they won't notice, but when I look at those cuts I get a strong feeling of guilt and regret. I know cutting myself Is wrong, but I don't know who I can talk to for help. Hello, I am 19 years old and I've been dieting since i was 15 years old. I mean , from very beginning I was on strict diet , in one month I lost 12 kilos , but due to the health problems I had to gain the weight , otherwise I wouldn't be able to recover. So I did it, but the problem is that I have gained too much during the 4 years, so right now I want to loose the weight ina healthy way, so I am on a diet , training for 1 hour everyday and swimming every day. If the owner offers to fix the problems,but I no longer want the house,can I still get my deposit back.?

I put a bid and deposit on a house that failed inspection. The owners offered to fix the problems (Worn out roof,old plumbing,and electrical)but I have already found a house that is ready to move in to.I was told my my RA that I have to let them fix the problem,but I just do not want the house.I was also told that I can not get out of the agreement,nor can I get my deposit back.Is there anything that I can do to get out of this nightmare.Can they really hold on to my deposit and make me stay in a contract for a house that I do not want,that has failed inspection?

The check I received didn't cover replacement cost so they deducted 20% for depreciation. The problem.I found a roofing company to replace the roof using 25yrs shingles, leaving just enough to replace my shed, but the lien holder is insisting that I replace it using 30 yr shingles, taking the full amount of the check.Can he make me get the more expensive roof? Heartbroken re decision made?

My 18 year old son has had mental health issues for many years namely due to horriffic sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of his bioligical father & grandfather. Since he chose to file charges with the police, his biological father committed suicide, his grandfather was called to trial but the prosecutors felt there was not enough 'evidence' to take it to trial & in the publics best interest to withdraw all charges from the grandfather so he got off scott free. I have had my son in multiple private hospitals seeking the best of psychiatric care for the last two years since he left school. He is addicted to drugs, pain medication, marijuana, you name it. He has attempted suicide a multitude of times & last night was the final straw in that he terrified my 3 year old son (his step brother), myself & his step father by indicating we were at harm & to lock ourselves in our bedroom throughout the night, that he cut himself up with a knife across his arms & legs & my fiance had to wrestle a large carving knife from him. We had police come to the house, he had a seizure in front of them & the ambulance arrived to take him to hospital but he walked out of there today as our mental health system in Western Australia is pathetic, they release mental health patients at the drop of a hat. We have told him many times previously that we cannot keep putting up with him living under our roof with his addictions that he doesn't seem to want to address & he is scaring his little 3 year old brother so he has to move out. I am heartbroken telling my own child he is not welcome in our home. He told me today we don't care about him, we don't love him, we only love his little brother, he is our only son & he is going to kill himself & we will have his blood on our hands. I have for years tried so many hospitals, psychs, taken so much time off work jeopardising my job trying to help him, I recently secured him a job & we thought things were going well but he took days off on drug induced illness. I can't help but feel guilty about our decision to have him look for crisis accommodation. I have tried to intervene & help him do this today but he told me to stay out of his life. I feel like I'm a terrible mother & have let my own flesh & blood down.

Question about robin behavior?

We have robins who have built a nest on the crutch of a roof drain under the overhang. There are currently three baby robins we can watch being fed. The nest is our rear door and if we open the door and come out, the adult robin (mom or dad) will fly from the nest and give an alarm sound (peek calls). I've noticed that the male will do this from nearby, keeping watch on us. But if the female is near as well, she seems to chase after the male, flying to wherever he is perched and nudging him, as birds do on power lines. She will keep moving him along whenever he perches. Anyone know why?
