Do you bath your pet bird?

Ive tried everything to try to get my cockateil to bath. Ive put her in the sink, the shower, and bought her a birdie tub and she doesn't use it, she just gets seeds in it. She hates being in the water and I hate forcing her because whenever she gets out her poo is runny. An I doing something wrong or what are some ways to get her to bath?
