Xbox 360 Tiger Woods 2012 The Masters?

cpl months ago i purchased downloadable content the eagle and birdie pack for extra courses thru xbox live marketplace onto my xbox 360 and hard drive. Yesterday i copied the downloaded content from my hard drive onto a flash drive and then transferred the flash drive onto my roomates xbox and hard drive. All new courses still work on my hard drive/xbox and all new courses work on his hard drive/xbox. Is this "illegal" or a violation of anything that will cause my membership to be void? Or is this a goof that they didn't catch? Please let me know
