How to tell Green Cheek Conure gender?

I have had my pet green cheek conure for nearly 7 years, he (or she) is almost 8 now. I would like to find out my birds gender, without DNA testing. My little birdie is very sweet and loving, and I would hate to put him (or her) through testing or needles. also, does anyone know how long they live?
