If i don't watch Unstoppable High Kick will I not understand High Kick Through the Roof?

i really want to watch High Kick Through the Roof but then i found out that it was the sequel to Unstoppable High Kick, but the more i read the summaries of both series i found that they don't have anything in common. however, that is only what the summaries look like. i don't actually know cause i've never seen either series XD i didn't really like the summary of Unstoppable High Kick and i don't particularly want to watch it, but i tend to like to watch series in order if they pertain to one another. do these two series pertain and play off each other or can i skip Unstoppable High Kick and go straight to High Kick Through the Roof and be completely fine?
