I POO BLOOD WHAT DO I DO?

i poo blood every single time i go to the toilet for a month. sometimes its bright red and sometimes its pretty dark, and other times its in the poo itself. im 18 and female and my mum doesnt believe that it may be serious. what do you think it is thats causing so much blood every time i go to the loo?
